Just as secular universities are dependent upon the State to augment student fee income, so theological colleges rely on the support of the constituency they serve. Denominations levy their churches for this purpose. For a non-denominational college like WEST, which needs to raise up to a half of its income from sources other than student fees, life is more challenging. Within the UK, we mainly serve independent churches. Clearly, each of these must be convinced on an individual basis that WEST is a ministry worthy of their support.

So we are immensely grateful to God, not only for the increasing number of churches partnering with us in this way, but also for individual believers who have so encouraged us by their giving over the years.
